Build Breakdown: Brian Klock's Top Six Builds

Build Breakdown: Brian Klock's Top Six Builds

Six builds that stuck with Brian Klock for different reasons. From long-standing dream bikes to shared stories with friends and family, these are the featured bikes that left a lasting impression.

This build breakdown looks a little different. Instead of focusing on one bike, we’re handing the mic to Brian Klock, the guy who started this whole journey.

Over the years, Brian has built countless motorcycles, but these six hold a special place in his heart. Each bike tells a story of collaboration, creativity, and the people who helped make it happen. They reveal Brian’s commitment to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and love for the riding community.

As you explore these builds, you’ll see more than parts and paint. You’ll see friendships formed over the years of late nights in the shop, risks taken with bold ideas, and celebrations of small victories only a true motorcycling community can understand, all written from Brian's perspective.

So sit back, grab a snack, and enjoy the journey with us.

Decade Chopper

Harley-Davidson® Twin Cam Chopper

Ridden during the "Friends Throwdown" in 2023 through snow, cold, and rough roads with the krew, this bike has earned its place. After sitting for more than a “decade”, completing it as a dream bike made the project even more meaningful to me.

Collaborating with Rob Roehl, Donnie Smith, the Klock Werks krew, and my longtime friend Jeff Jolliff made it that much more special. Better yet, Vanessa and I both love it!

The signature Kandy Purple is custom mixed by Jon Kosmoski, the founder of House of Kolor. No graphics...must be my personal ride!

RK's '61

1961 Harley-Davidson® Panhead

When a company as longstanding as S&S comes calling, it’s an honor. They are an American Icon. We were proud to help launch the Vintage Series, and the Panhead nod meant even more.

My little brother Tony had commissioned Stefanie Aziere-Sattler to create the artwork on our shop wall of my dad and his best friend, Sylvan, heading to Sturgis in August of 1966. That was one month before I was born, and it already told part of the story.

Vanilla Twist

2010 Harley-Davidson® Road King

Jeff Jolliff and I became friends back in 1995 when he bought my dad, Roger Klock's, bagger. Since then, we’ve done events coast to coast together. When he took over this new bike I brought home, it just made sense.

He has collaborated with us on every version of this build. Proud to have a friend with loyalty, style, and commitment to Klock Werks and me personally–Jeff Jolliff is that person.

HACK'd Dyna

1994 Harley-Davidson® Dyna Wide Glide

When the “Friends Throwdown” was “evolution” motor bikes, the search began on Facebook Marketplace.  From a $600 wreck to a rolling success, this broken, beat up Dyna took a turn. I think people that have watched Klock Werks' bumpy road to success see that in this bike.

It’s a 90’s style build and we kept true to the Danny Gray bike inspiration. Super proud of Rob Roehl and team Klock Werks for the execution level.

Jeremy Seanor crushed the 90's Tiki art and graphics on this throwback transformation. Braces, Jinco Jeans, a walkman, and Surge soda with Rollerblades, winning!

“The women who believes in me religiously”

- Bailey Zimmerman

My wife, Vanessa, let me take bold chances in 2020 during COVID as we were expecting our son Kargo. Lots to think about and possibly worry about. This chapter found us risking it all. I ordered big from all suppliers as I couldn't sell apples from an empty cart. We won.

When the year was done, I commented on that teal color and wished I would have gotten one. Vanessa contacted Jimmy at J&L Harley-Davidson®, they found one, and it was my first new Harley® in decades. I am so grateful.

Thanks Vanessa for believing in me, religiously.

Pumpkin Spice & "Hinto" Blue

2004 Harley-Davidson® Softail (Pumpkin Spice)

2014 Indian® Chief Classic ("Hinto" Blue)

(Yes, it's two bikes in one story...but it makes perfect sense.)

When Jeremy Seanor kept sending photos monthly as we played with the Harley-Davidson® Pumpkin Spice build, Vanessa took pride and ownership. She said, "That's my bike. I want this one!"–I loved that!

So we had to build a running mate, and why not an Indian® Vicla motorcycle as we love all motorcycles. This one would be mine and painted by Pete "Hot Dog" Finlan, painter from West Coast Choppers.

There is no greater feeling than seeing your wife rolling that sexy orange Vicla while riding an equally handsome build in "Hinto". I am thankful for Vanessa’s part in Klock Werks growth and quality. My running mate, a confident, independent bike and rider. These bikes mean that to me.

The Klock Journey

Many people find themselves in that 30-day window between Christmas and New Year, easing back into 2026. Looking at all these builds, the common thread is collaboration with great people.

Everyone contributes, and it’s what makes celebrating the final product, the first ride, and the camaraderie of motorcycling so rewarding. The good Lord designed us to live in community, and for that, I’m grateful.

Here’s to 2026 and beyond—step in, give each other grace, and build amazing friendships and motorcycles.
