How strong is the magnetic grip?
The strength of the iOmounts® system is its most "magnetic" personality trait. Unlike cheap plastic clips that fatigue over time, our high-grade magnets provide a consistent, powerful pull.

Are magnets safe for my phone?
This is the #1 question we get at rallies. Yes, iOmounts® are 100% safe for your device. The engineering secret is simple: the magnet stays in the mount, not on your phone. You simply adhere the iOdisc™ (a razor-thin steel plate) to your case. Because there is no magnetic field originating from your phone, your internal sensors, GPS, and battery remain completely unaffected.
Indoor vs. Outdoor Magnets: What’s the difference?
Not all magnets are created equal. We’ve optimized two distinct versions to ensure you have the right "clamping" force for the job:

How do I install it correctly?
We want your gear to stay put. Follow our "Shop Standards" for the best result:

Prep the Surface: Clean your phone case with alcohol. Note: 3M VHB adhesive loves smooth plastic but hates silicone or highly textured "rugged" cases.

Apply the iOdisc™: Center it and apply firm pressure.

The 24-Hour Rule: This is the most important step. Let the adhesive cure for 24 hours before you hit the road. Trust us—we’ve seen what happens when you rush it!

Add the Tether: For high-speed motorcycle use, we always recommend the Klock Werks Phone Tether for that extra layer of "South Dakota insurance."
