Im August 2006 gewann Klock Werks mit einer Road Glide, die heute als WFB (World's Fastest Bagger) bekannt ist, den Biker Build-Off des Discovery Channel. Nicht einmal 3 Wochen nach dem Bau der WFB stellte das Team einen nationalen Geschwindigkeitsrekord auf den Bonneville Salt Flats auf. Während der Versuche erlebte das Team ein Hochgeschwindigkeitspendeln.
Da wurde die ursprüngliche und patentierte Flare® Windschutzscheibe geboren.
