Designed to Adapt
Wireless charging has quickly become the standard across vehicles, homes, and workplaces. From factory-equipped charging pads in modern cars to wireless stands on desks, the way we power our devices has changed. The Inductive Charging iOdisc™ was designed to adapt the iOmounts® system to that shift without changing what already works.
Rather then redesigning the entire mounting system, Klock Werks focused on evolving the adaptor itself. The result is a low-profile solution that allows inductive charging compatibility while maintaining the magnetic simplicity users expect from iOmounts®. There's no bulky add-on, no proprietary case requirement, and no need to remove your phone from its case just to charge.
It's designed as a case adaptor that works with virtually any flat-backed phone case, allowing compatibility with inductive charging stations while still pairing perfectly with any iOmounts® system. No special cases. No complicated setups. Just a smarter way to mount and charge.
Seamless Integration With iOmounts®
The Inductive Charging iOdisc™ is designed to work seamlessly with the full range of iOmounts® mounting solutions, making it a natural fit for everyday uses.
It pairs perfectly with mounts like the iOstand® and iOmini™, making it ideal for desks, nightstands, workbenches, and vehicle interiors equipped with inductive charging. Smaller mounts like the iOmini™ are optimized for smartphones, providing a compact, secure hold. Model-specific mounts such as nomad™ and nomad+™ remain focused on phones, GPS units, and other lightweight devices. The slim profile keeps devices properly positioned for reliable charging while maintaining the secure magnetic hold the iOmounts® system is known for.
The magnetic connection remains contained within the iOcore® assembly in the mount itself, while the Inductive Charging iOdisc™ acts as an ultra thin adaptor attached to the device. This setup provides a secure magnetic hold without interfering with wireless charging performance.
This approach allows users to move between devices and environments easily, keeping wireless charging consistent and convenient without replacing the mounting system.
For riders and drivers who split time between indoor charging and outdoor use, flexibility is key. For outdoor or on-the-road riding, the original outdoor-rated iOdisc™ remains the recommended option, but be sure to use a Klock Werks Phone Tether for added security if using the Inducive iOdisc™ on an outdoor mount. Many users choose to run two cases, one with the outdoor iOdisc™ and one with the indoor Inductive iOdisc™, depending on how and where they're using their device.
Easy Installation, Proven Adhesion
Installation is quick and straightforward. The Inductive Charging iOdisc™ uses the same ultra-strong 3M™ VHB adhesive trusted across the iOmounts® lineup.
It adheres securely to any flat device surface or compatible phone case, though it is not recommended for silicone or highly textured cases as it can affect adhesion. Once installed, allow 24-72 hours for proper adhesive curing before use to ensure maximum holding strength.
