Every year, the Klock Krew throws down before heading west, and 2025 is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. This July, the city of Mitchell, Klock Werks’ hometown, is once again hosting the annual Pre-Sturgis Party and the Klock Werks Krew invites all riders to hit the open road together on the Rockstar Rollout to Sturgis the following day.
Whether you're local, passing through, or making the pilgrimage for the 85th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, this is your invitation to party with the Krew, tour the shop, ride around the lake and downtown for the annual party and "old time bike games", and then ride across South Dakota to Sturgis before parting ways to take in the Rally.

Get the full small town South Dakota experience as part of this year’s pilgrimage to the rally. Kick things off at Klock Werks HQ in Mitchell, SD with our all-day open house. This is your chance to meet the Krew, tour the shop, and get an up-close look at our latest builds and parts. Swing by any time on Thursday to hang out, grab some gear, and catch the annual Ride Around Lake Mitchell, which arrives in downtown Mitchell just in time for the Pre-Sturgis celebration on downtown Main Street. The parade will leave our shop at 4PM.
The Pre-Sturgis Party on Main Street

Mitchell’s Main Street transforms into a high-octane hub for bikes, music, food, and more. This year’s Pre-Sturgis Party includes:
- Moto Trials Stunt Shows at 6:15, 7:15, and 9:45 PM
- Live music from local celebrity and talent Weston Frank and Shelby Lee Lowe (Eric Church's house band at "Chiefs")
- Motorcycle Rodeo & "Old Time Bike Games"
- Food trucks
- S&S Cycle Vintage Tour with kustom classic bikes
- Car Show hosted by The 301 Rodz (Free Entry)
- Bike Show hosted by Cycle Source (Free Entry)
- Vendor booths
- Strider Bike Course for kids
- Appearances by Twin Rivers Old Iron and the National Guard

Join the ‘Rockstar Rollout’ to Sturgis

The road to Sturgis is calling—and we’re answering it together. On Friday morning, the Klock Krew rolls out from Mitchell to Rapid City, leading a pack of riders across the state on what we call the ‘Rockstar Rollout’. Fuel up early and ride to Sturgis with the Klock Krew and friends like @Terry_Madden, @JT_Customs, @Matt_Howell, @Forever_Rad_, @ShadleyBros.Motorcycles, @LuckyStrike_Designs, and @Mr.Werks.
Oh and did we mention there will be coffee and donuts? From 7:30AM - 8:30AM. Please come with your bike fueled up.
This isn’t just a ride. It’s a journey. And everyone’s invited! We’ll be making stops along the way, filming, taking photos, and capturing the stories that make rides like this unforgettable. Whether you're rocking a Flare® Windshield, an iOmounts® phone setup, or no Klock Werks gear at all you’re welcome in our pack! Make friends, experience community, and #GetKlocked!
We will journey across the state to west river where riders are welcome to branch off at any time and head to their destination. You can swing by and say ‘hi’ to everyone at one of our booths. We will be located at Black Hills Harley-Davidson® in Rapid City or the J&P Cycles lot in downtown Sturgis on 6th and Lazelle.

A: The Rockstar Rollout departs from Klock Werks in Mitchell on Friday, August 1 at 8:30AM sharp. Come early, gas up, and roll out with the Krew.
Q: Will there be stops along the way?
A: Yes. We’ll stop for fuel, food, and photos.
Q: Can I join if I don’t have Klock Werks parts on my bike?
A: Absolutely. Whether you’re rocking our gear or just riding with friends, you’re part of the family. All riders and bikes are welcome.
Q: Is the Pre-Sturgis Party open to the public?
A: Yes. Thursday’s open house at Klock Werks and the evening party on Mitchell's Main Street are free and open to everyone.
