For 27 years, we at Klock Werks have been redefining what it means to innovate in the motorcycle industry. Now, we’re taking that same spirit of creativity and teaming up with WhiteKnuckler Brand, renowned for their hand-crafted, American-made stainless steel knives, to bring you the Limited-Edition Klock Werks Chef Knife Set.
"We both believe in making things that last, with an attention to detail that you can’t fake. This isn’t just another product, it’s something we’re proud to put our name on," says Brian Klock.
When Brian first saw the WhiteKnuckler chef knives at Biltwell’s Parts & Labor Custom Motorcycle Expo, he was immediately impressed. As he struck up a conversation with Bear, the founder of WhiteKnuckler, the connection was instant. "The conversation flowed so naturally that we were soon finishing each other’s sentences," Bear recalls.
This enthusiasm quickly turned their conversation into a plan for a unique project and collaboration. The partnership was officially sealed when Bear gifted Brian the original prototype: a cutting board set featuring a hefty 44-pound magnet within a carved recess to hold the knife. The magnetic feature really struck a chord with Brian given its association with the Klock Werks' iOmounts® system, a magnetic phone mount line rapidly gaining popularity among riders.
Each blade of the limited-edition knives are hand-sharpened, made from American 154CM high carbon stainless steel. To tie in the Klock Werks colors, each knife is housed within a one-of-a-kind, hand-poured acrylic handle that is red, white and black pearl. The handle scales are hand-sanded and polished to a create mirror finish complemented by brass pins and liners to create a one-of-a-kind custom knife. To make it even more special, the Klock Werks logo is engraved on every unit in this limited run of just 250.
Every time we show this knife set to customers or employees, we can't resist saying, "Watch out—this blade’s so sharp, it'll slice your sandwich before you even pick up the knife!"
Adding to the significance of this release is our collaboration with Chef Tony Caruana from Luce Secondo in Southeast Virginia. Chef Tony, recognized for his exceptional culinary techniques, has lent his expertise to the development of this knife set, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of the culinary arts.
“Relationships are everything. Both of these connections happened by chance, and it was serendipitous how we were all brought together. From the moment we all shook hands, we became friends, off and running!” says Brian Klock. “We are all so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate on this amazing collector’s piece.”
